Mikilaaq Rising is a short, cinematic, narrative-driven film following coastal Inuit communities across Nunatsiavut (Nain), Nunavik (Umiujaq), and Nunavut (Iqaluit), Canada, as they begin to confront an invisible force in their waters: shifting plankton and the growing risk of toxic algae.
